When were the McCanns moved from Payne's apartment, where after that?
Does anyone know the way Ocean Club moved the McCann family around.

• The initial diligence carried out with first sniffer dog, after having sniffed the towel used in the previous operation, began searching and showing interest in some doors leading to other apartments. He did not show any interest or even approach other apartments. In none of these actions did the dog give the signal to his trainer, Soldado Fernandes. It is certain however, that the dog signalled next to apartments 5J, 5H, and 4G. He showed great interest in sniffing these doors and the immediate areas. Next to door 5H there were two bags of rubbish and the odour may have distracted the dog. Outside 4G was a tray of plates, cutlery and cloth napkins that had apparently been used. This apartment is where the parents of the missing child were staying (at the time). Concerning apartment 5J, the same may have been conditioned by the presence of people in the interior or he could have sniffed an odour that needed to be confirmed.

The people undersigned and identified are temporarily lodgers, during their holidays, of the apartments, also identified.

They state that they authorise that Portuguese and English police officers displace themselves to the said apartments, on July 31 (Note : plus August also included but no date indicated), between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. This is the reason why they gave the keys of the said apartments to Mrs. Silvia Baptista, Manager of the Ocean Club Resort.

In witness whereof we have drawn up this document, which, having been read and found correct will be duly signed by the identified people and by me, Tavares de Almeida, Chief-Inspector of Policia Judiciaria, who has written it.

This document is also signed in English.

I'm beginning to think I was mistaken all the time - when the McCanns were moved from G5A where were they moved to?  Was it directly to G4 G?

Sílvia goes on to explain the scene in the apartment, with many people entering and exiting. The PJ arrived and the twins were taken upstairs to apartment 5H (the Paynes). Sílvia was asked by Kate McCann to get some of the twins’ items from their bedroom in 5A, and she did.

Just that night (or morning).  MW had apparently offered another apartment, but they chose to go to the Paynes.

At some point on the 4th, they moved to 4G, for a period of 2 months.  Since Kate and Gerry did police interviews in Portimão on 4 May, I assume they moved after the interviews, but that is very much an assumption.

I also don't know how they got their goods and chattel out of 5A, given that a couple of forensic teams were working on the apartment that day.

Before you ask, I have no idea of Cuddle Cat's route.

Not sure for definite but I understood it was just overnight 3/4 May.

OK I was just querying whether they moved in with the Paynes at all, but SiL says it so I think that was a definite step.
