What do Supporters think the McCanns did wrong?
« on: March 07, 2018, 11:56:27 PM »
Reading the forum over the last couple of days, it would appear from many supporters point of view nothing the McCanns did was worthy of censure. Is this really the case?

If the McCanns needed to face a charge of child neglect, then maybe all 4 of the Tapas 9 families ought to have faced the same charge.
I can see that Portuguese prosecutors may have disliked this idea as it could affect the tourist trade.
So you can rule out child neglect charges ever happening.
Do I think that they should be charged- probably not.

Reading this forum over the last couple of years, it would appear from many sceptics point of view everything the McCanns did was worthy of censure.
Is this really the case?
Deal with the failings of others as gently as with your own.

Perhaps the real issue was how much the group were constrained by Portuguese law & judicial secrecy, resulting in behaviour which seemed unnatural to UK citizens as a whole.

Well for a start, i believe they robbed maddie -  of her human rights.

As a child, to be protected by her parents or an adult.

They were responsible for their children's well being. [no one else]

I think you must have been reading a different forum because I havent seen these posts. As I have said many times I think the mccanns were wrong to leave the children...but I understand why they did it and why they thought it was safe

So why did she run off and leave the twins...to go to tapas bar.

Leaving them in the creche the next day.... because she knew it was safe...still.
