I suspect that Operation Grange already know where Madeleine is, although it would be difficult to extract her from some places while she is still underage.  All in my opinion, of course.

How is that possible? If they have proof that she is Madeleine McCann there are ways of getting her home. If they 'can't prove it then it's a suspicion, not a fact.

DNA has to have a Chain of Evidence.  Anything acquired by stealth will not do.  "Parents" in some countries have a right to refuse such a test.

Snatching a child off the streets is simply not on.  So, No, there aren't necessarily ways of getting Madeleine home while she is still underage  and probably doesn't know who she is.

There are ways of dealing with these matters. There are 192 countries who belong to Interpol. If OG have reason to believe Madeleine is in one of those countries they can work with that country's police force through Interpol. They will, of course, need to present adequate evidence to support their beliefs. If they can do so I can't see any other police force refusing to help them.

The Portuguese police don't seem to have been particularly helpful.. Imo

How do you suggest they obtain this evidence?

What they are doing. Getting on with life and accepting that they are a family with a missing member. They're not the only ones, there are many such families.

Never an easy option for the families of missing people I would imagine.  Even those who are not the focus of abusive internet interventions and whose cases were conducted competently and at length by the police at the time, leaving no stone unturned and no further avenues to be pursued.

Cases of missing children are never closed as Madeleine's apparently was.  Within a year of any other child being reported missing has a file marked as being irrelevant to the inquiry been set up to which ALL incoming information good, bad or indifferent was relegated?

Can you name one instance?

If you can't I suggest that Madeleine having been singularly maltreated by the authorities deserves the unfinished business of her case to be dealt with as long as it is supported by evidence.  As is the norm for cases of missing children for whom all the stops have been pulled out which must at least give a small measure of comfort to their grieving families.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

If they think they have located her they should be able to produce the evidence that led them to that location.

Do you think you should be told?

And warn the people so they can take Madeleine somewhere else?

Evidence is not Proof.

Do you think Interpol or the police in the country where she might be would warn those holding her that OG were interested in them?

No.  But they need Proof.  You appear to want Operation Grange to disclose this Evidence.  It ain't going to happen.

Disclosing evidence to another police force so they can help to solve a case is, I imagine, quite usual.

Do you think that isn't already happening and not just with the forces of law and order in Britain and in Portugal?
