Neither have you proved they haven't. Are you calling Lord Bell a liar?
I don't believe it was the McCanns who paid him, so whether that means that I call him a liar I'm not sure.  He didn't put that in writing, it was part of a speech so it could have been a slip of the tongue.

Another possible reason is Operation Grange. They seem to have intervened on the last two anniversaries for some reason. Perhaps they have had a word with the media as well as the McCanns?

Then why is it feasible for Madeleine's fund to pay Mark Warner's PR guru for keeping Madeleine's name in the headlines when that's where it already was?

Jean-Pierre posed two questions both of which you have studiously ignored in my opinion making your oft reiterated assertion a factoid.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I don't think the McCann story has died.

At he moment it would be inappropriate in the middle of a live investigation to run any stories unless the police have something they wish to publicise.

Also there is no longer any requirement for Madeleine's parents to be running a press campaign to keep Madeleine's name and image in the public eye ... for the simple reason the police are actively investigating her case.

Do you think it is time that the McCanns organised a new age progression image Brietta. It is a long time since the last one was done.

In which case the stories should have stopped when OG became a full blown investigation.

Why do you suppose that would be a job for Madeleine's parents in view of the fact they no longer have to conduct their own inquiry ?
