I never said there was more than one version... I've no idea how he got hold of anything

If there are 3 people and they all get different amounts of data, in my language that means there are 3 versions. End of argument.

Perhaps he simply asked for and received a complete set of files from the Portuguese.
By complete, I mean as complete as anyone got - I think we know that some files were not released.

None of the participants have openly complained about inaccuracies. - As far as I know.

I'm sure the McCann PR machinery would have leaped into action if there had been anything significant to correct.
Much the same can be said for the translations - IMO

Have you enough sensitivity in your fingers to learn Braille?   Maybe we should be learning Braille.  Take the statements down in Braille therefore the PJ could be blind but the truth will still come out.

I have never come across an alternative investigation being allowed to run alongside an ongoing criminal investigation. You don’t get to decide to set up your own private investigation because you don’t trust the Police.

If the police could not be relied upon to take down the statements properly it seems the right thing to do
