Kate mentions 'lost in translation'. which suggests losing nuances rather than facts. CRG did no better either;

we made the mistake of assuming that the transcripts would be correct and discovered only many months later that these, too, contained inaccuracies. And they had been given and recorded in English! [madeleine]

She says the CRG statements were given to the PJ, but they're not in the files.

There is a report from Control Risks, the first private detective agency which was brought to the case [by the McCanns] in the very first days, where they state, after speaking with Gerald McCann and other witnesses in that group [Tapas 9], that the key that Mr. Gerald McCann alleges to have used had in fact been left in the kitchen, in the kitchen’s counter. Right away, the lies started. (Gonçalo Amaral)

Pointing out your use of logical fallacies is ad hom?

4th May; he opened the door with his key.
10th May; he didn't open the door with his key.
13th May; keys left in kitchen so he couldn't have used them.

It got a lot of attention for a slip of the tongue/memory, didn't it?

they answerred the questions they were asked..

That didn’t answer my question.

Are the statements taken by Control Risks (we will gloss over the fact that the whole group were breaking judicial secrecy) substantially different, and more importantly, more accurate than those taken by the PJ ?
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

It is not ad hom.  It is a fair criticism.
