There's one thing worse than growing old... Dying young

Anyone who gets to live and to see and enjoy this amazingly beautiful world is incredibly lucky imo. Nature is fabulous. People are fabulous. The human race, however, is in danger of destroying it all.

Only in the eyes of those who believe that Madeleine was abducted, I think. There are people on the forum who don't believe that.

I can think of one man who was extremely actove and vocal in his support of the abduction. He was also extremely nasty to those who didn't share his views. He was foolish enough to get caught with child porn on his computer too.

There are all soorts of people on the internet and they can't be reliably judged by their stance on the McCann case imo.

Agreed. Neither side has a monopoly on good or bad.

“That after having given the sniffer dog the towel and next to the residence of the missing girl, more specifically, next to apartment block 5A and 5, the first sniffer dog headed toward the door of that apartment. Immediately afterward, he headed in the direction of block 4, returned around block 5, and came down a road that exists between this block and the leisure area (pools, restaurants, etc). He turned right; in the direction of the aforementioned apartment and headed toward the main road. There, he crossed the street and next to the wall of block 6, turned right, and headed toward the contiguous parking area. More concretely, he headed next to a light post and sniffed the ground around that post. After this, he crossed the street again and headed toward the access zone to the restaurants and pool area, sniffing the door which was closed at that time. He again went to the parking zone, and at that point, lost the scent”. (PJ files)

This is also where spotty/ugly man has been seen.

Good observation Anthro.

I wonder if spottyman was leaning on that lamppost ?

I wonder if spottyman went into 5A and lifted Madeleine , touching the towel and pink blanket and leaving his smell on them?

I wonder if I was right and the dogs were actually tracking his nervous sweaty smell which was overpowering Madeleines.

Could spottyman be the lifter and he passed Madeleine on to Tannerman who was keeping watch and assisting?

As there'd no evidence you'll have to keep on wondering imo.

i think theres enough evidence to rule out the family

G-Unit, we all keep wondering, theorising, speculating, since there is no concrete and substantial evidence/information. I think it is human nature to do so.

If I may, I wish to share the following: Today at my daughter’s primary school, an all-rounder, fit learner participated in cross-country and at 100 m to the finishing line, she collapsed and died. That child becomes every parent in the school’s child. I presume the same applies to Madeleine. She became everyone else’s child because it could have happened to you or me.

people are so touchy feely these days. 50 years ago it would have just be treated as ' shit happens'

Nevermind. This however: ‘Shit happens’. Thank God I don’t steer my life according to that principle.

Jassi, your comment on Davel’s post “I think ... therefore it must be” has reference. That is your take and emphasis, not Davel’s. Own your words.

Like you, I am a member. Unless certain members belong to a higher hierarchy, I don’t know what you are implying.

Wondering, theorising and speculating may be human nature, I don't know. I do know that it doesn't provide answers. It's investigating and finding evidence which does that.

The event you describe must have been shockung and traumatic for everyone. I'm sure her parents will appreciate the sympathy and support other parents will offer them.

I'm not sure that anyone can make someone ekse's child their child, however.  As a parent I can imagine another parent's pain and heartbreak, but I can't actually feel it myself.
