in your misguided opinion
you are having your usual day...mine is normal...the presumption of innocence applies from the suspect stage..

anyone who is charged is entitled to the presumption of innocence

But not that innocent that they are free in the period prior to conviction.

The scope of the Directive is defined to apply from the moment a person is suspected
of having committed an offence until the final determination. In the view of the ICJ,
JUSTICE and NJCM, in order to ensure that the Directive accurately reflects
international law, it should also expressly provide for the continuing respect of the
presumption of innocence where a person is acquitted of an offence.

You do know that's a discussion of a proposed directive by the European Commission? It became law in 2016. The UK and Ireland, however, opted out for some reason.

suspects are still protected by libel laws.....suspects only need to be cahrged ...they do not have to go to trial
