Yes, they claim the Boutflours stumbled upon Sheila’s blood and planted it in the silencer

That they managed to spray it deep down in the silencer in exactly the same pattern that back spatter creates

All they’re highlighting is how strange their thought processes are...

Well, there should be concrete evidence if a jury is going to convict somebody of murder.  And, that concrete evidence is supposed to be beyond reasonable doubt.

I've seen no evidence of the whereabouts of his wetsuit.
