It has never sat well with me that Madeleine's parents have been vilified for years without ever been charged for any crimes.......never mind being found guilty of violent rape and child abuse as this present suspect has!

I agree with your analysis, Anthro.   Bruckner may well have been commissioned to take Madeleine.

Remember, the day before, he boasted about picking up a large amount of money for a job he was doing the next day …. and that he would be away for a while.

That sounds like a commission to me.
