Where does she stand on Bamber?

I vaguely recall her offering support on the blue forum.

I actually feel somewhat conned by this programme now, knowing how incredibly one sided it was.   That’s not to say I have any firm views on Mitchell’s guilt, just that I don’t like being manipulated by documentary makers in this propagandistic way.

Well said VS.  Channel 5 should be ashamed of themselves for airing such a piece of pure propaganda.  They are effectively accusing Jodi Jones' brother, the moped two and AN Other of murder.

What was the Channel 5 show based on John? From where did their story originate?

TV standards have dropped considerably recently but this amateuristic sham by channel 5 must take the biscuit for how not to make a real crime documentary.

I think you would need to ask Ch5 that question.

I thrive on stress.  @)(++(*

Bloody hell, how annoying that all the Luke Mitchell stuff can't be accessed now. I wanted to know if it was ascertained that all Jodi's injuries were made by the same knife.

Thanks, John. I read that Luke had a "skunting" knife which was never recovered.

I won't pursue this any further, unless things calm down a bit.

A witness was traced who claimed that Mitchell previously told him that he could imagine getting “stoned” and killing someone and a fellow pupil recalled that Mitchell had shown him a knife and said that he knew the best way to slit someone’s throat.

At the time of the murder Mitchell owned a ‘skunting’ knife which has never been found despite an extensive search of his house.

His mother bought him another knife and during a subsequent search of the family home many months later, the pouch from the knife, but not the knife itself, was recovered. A number of inscriptions had been made on the pouch: the numbers “666”; an inscription which read “[Name removed] 1989 – 2003”, these being the years of Jodi’s birth and death; and the words “The finest day I ever had was when tomorrow never came”, a quote from the lead singer of Nirvana.

Luke Mitchell supporters want kitchen knife found near spot Jodi Jones was murdered to be tested

The blade was discovered buried in a drystone dyke around 300 yards from the scene of the attack.

A source told them that in 2015 a local man was digging next to a drystone dyke when they found the knife, with a dark brown wooden handle.

They added: "Stones had been moved from the dyke and put back on top of it. The man, who has no connection to the Mitchells or Joneses and is a local business owner, realised the potential significance.

"He picked it up with pliers and put it in a freezer bag to preserve it before handing it in to Dalkeith police station . He told them it should be checked out due to the Jodi Jones murder.

"The man said the knife looked like it had been there a long time.

“Ashley Coutts, 15, tells the court that she had seen Mitchell with a knife at his father's house in Livingston.
She explains that the sister of her mother's boyfriend lived with Mitchell's father and that she would sometimes visit them. Ashley is also shown a brown knife and she confirms that it is similar to the one Mitchell had.”

What about Corrine’s story of the bag of dog biscuits John

The police had searched the house, had even put their fingers through the dog meat inside the bowl/s?

A knife was later handed into the family lawyer with claims that it had been in a bag 'underneath' the dog bowl stand. Mrs Mitchell putting forward the claim that, there was no missing knife (assuming the one from the pouch), that it had been there all the time in the packet of dog biscuits where she had hid it.

Evidence was heard in court disputing this, prosecution putting forward that the search team, in their expertise would not have missed this. If they took the time to search the meat in the bowl, would not have failed to look underneath? This knife (black handle) missing knife (brown handle)?
