Jodi Arias Jury Can't Agree on Death Sentence.

Jodi Arias changes her mind and pleads for a life sentence in order to save her family from more pain.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

She is a sociopathtic exhibitionist and always has to have the last word, make out she knowsbetter than everyone, her last words were she would love the death penalty because it represents the ultimate freedom, its her way of seeming in control, bet shes sh it scared of it as her ego would be destroyed, life without parole or on death row forever, she has shown no remorse for her actions, and still accuses travis of heinous crimes, shocking, but she made her bes, she will lie in it and she knew it every single minute along the line, shame humans have to self destruct and not sort things well beforehand

What sentence would you give her Red? I change my mind quite a bit on that. I am certain (imho) the jury will give her death very quickly.

Whether she gets life or death she has to be publically humiliated for all her lies, and contempt, perhaps a group of interviewers challenging her and forcing her true colours out, THEN, life without parole, 12 hours work a day and all proceeds to charity

Jodi Arias final interview with Ryan Owens of ABC News last night where she lost that carefully stage-managed composure albeit momentarily and called him a '[ censored word ]'.

The blond bombshell look prior to being incarcerated.

I hope to god they reach a decision one way or another today, otherwise this trial could drag on for months. A new jury would have to be selected and the whole trial repeated again, and if they can't reach a unanimous decision, Sherry Stephens would have to sentence Arias to a whole life term or life with release after 25 years... with no death penalty on the cards. And anyway, how are they going to find any new untainted jurors who haven't heard about and followed it on the media?

If they don't shape up Maricopa courtroom's going to be Arias' second home.

Mistrial declared... I can see the same happening to a second jury, because they'll never find anyone in Arizona after two more months who hasn't been swayed either way by media coverage. So Sherry Stephens might not have to sentence Arias to death after all.

Poor old Juan looks downcast,  8(8-)) while Jennie sneaks a wry smile to Jodi.  8)-)))

What are we going to do until July 20th?  >@@(*&)

That surprised me; I was expecting the death penalty. I think the new jury just has to affirm that they have not and will not be influenced by media coverage. No one can expect the new jury not to be fully aware of the case.

I wonder just how much evidence has to be presented to the new jury. Arias goes in with a guilty verdict with cruelty so I assume there can be no arguments about what has already been decided by the jury. Arias will be on top flirting form with the new jury.

I fear you're right Myster; she is going to get another hung jury and then a life sentence. I don't think that judge will give her possible parole after 25 years.

Will the case have to be heard all over again?

Will the case have to be heard all over again?

Seeing as she is still guilty of 1st degree premeditated murder with aggravating factors (extreme cruelty) they won't be arguing the case again. There will be no self defense arguments. However all the facts of the case have to be presented to the new jury and then the penalty phase argued again .... it will take sometime.

I think the jury should just be presented with all the videos of the first trial to watch. That would save a lot of time and money. I think the new penalty phase trial will take a couple of weeks..
