Still waiting to discover precisely why the abduction theory is both implausible and illogical.  I mean, if you came home to your unlocked house after nipping to the shops for a few minutes and found the downstairs window had been opened  and your telly stolen would you tell yourself “it couldn’t have been a burglar because opening a window is too risky and why would a burglar open a window anyway?”

If the window was closed when I left and I found it had been opened from the inside then I would rule out that the burglar came in through the window.

You need to remember that Jimmy Savile was never so much as arrested let alone convicted.

I'm stunned and quite appalled.

Smearing by association it would seem…

Getting a bit close to the bone if you ask me.

Have you not heard of The Presumption of Innocence?

It takes at least 90 minutes before a corpse leaks cadaver odour.

The time depends on environmental factors and the physical composition of the body. There is some evidence of it being detectable earlier according to peer reviewed forensic science.

But you’d nevertheless accept that you’d been burgled?

Please provide the cite.  We would also need a cite from a peer reviewed report that a cadaver dog would still be able to detect the presence of a corpse that had only just begun to leak odour before being removed, three months after the event.

Yes, but given the evidence against Saville it's safe, in my opinion, to presume he was far from innocent. Same goes for Clement Freud, I personally believe.

Not necessarily. A friend may have walked in the open door to borrow the television.

I think it’s save to presume it too, though I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the evidence against him was made up.  Undoubtedly he would have been found guilty in a court of law, but proven beyond all reasonable doubt - how exactly?  Still, it gives us some hope for a conviction against other sexual predators where there is no physical evidence of their crimes.

Unless you are a skilled burglar (?)

A skilled burglar can't levitate over a bed to exit via a window.

@)(++(* Does that happen often?  If you hadn’t known or given permission that’s still theft.  I don’t believe for one second you first thought would be “oh I bet one of my friends came round to borrow my 40” telly without asking”.

Was levitation the only means of reaching the window in the apartment?  How incredibly inconvenient!

Have you not heard of The Presumption of Innocence?

Neither had Yoŕkshire Police when they informed the BBC they would be searching Sir Cliff Richard's home.

What a disgrace that was.

4 men made allegations against him (one man attempted to blackmail Sir Cliff) & clearly their word was worth more than his presumption.

His name is forever tarnished thanks to the behaviour of the Yorkshire Police, so yes, the presumption thing is applied selectively.
