Neither had Yoŕkshire Police when they informed the BBC they would be searching Sir Cliff Richard's home.

What a disgrace that was.

4 men made allegations against him (one man attempted to blackmail Sir Cliff) & clearly their word was worth more than his presumption.

His name is forever tarnished thanks to the behaviour of the Yorkshire Police, so yes, the presumption thing is applied selectively.
Basically all claims of historical sex abuse are one word against another.  I doubt you’re too picky about it when it comes to allegations against Asian taxi drivers though.

The time depends on environmental factors and the physical composition of the body. There is some evidence of it being detectable earlier according to peer reviewed forensic science.

How much earlier would you say in your infinite wisdom?

Yes, but given the evidence against Saville it's safe, in my opinion, to presume he was far from innocent. Same goes for Clement Freud, I personally believe.

Do you know that it is possible for relatives of the dead to sue for defamation at The Court of Human Rights?

I would be a bit careful if I were you.  IMO doesn't cover it.

A skilled burglar can't levitate over a bed to exit via a window.

This is a misrepresentation of the facts.

Was levitation the only means of reaching the window in the apartment?  How incredibly inconvenient!

No, it wasn't.

I refute this, I've absolutely nothing against taxi drivers.

even Asian ones that groom “our” girls?  I find that very hard to believe.  Do you consider that some if not all of their convictions are unsafe then?

Well, to be fair, in some Muslim societies a womans testimony is worth half that of a man, so I have to trust the men & obviously I can't criticise this, it would be blatant islamaphobia.

Not necessarily. A friend may have walked in the open door to borrow the television.

I think the relatives just rolled over and took it on the chin.

One thing which totally galls me is that the money which Savile had earmarked for charities in his will never got there while an individual like serial liar and paedophile Beech was able to buy a swanky sports car from the whack he received.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Why levitate?  He could open the window quite easily.

You’d need a scientist to answer that question but there’s a ton of research out there. Some types of flies can smell that a body is dead in a matter of minutes! As for dogs I did post a link on another thread years ago. Google might help but there are many variables so some specialist input is required.

I did just find this on cadaver dog reliability from an ACS journal; “
Today, cadaver dogs are the gold standard for detecting and recovering bodies in earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. “These dogs are highly effective”

More obfuscation.
