I agree she should not have left them alone.. Imo it does matter how it started.... As to who's fault the fire was.

Whatever or whoever caused the fire, it's the mother's fault that the children faced it alone.

I say it as I see it. The McCanns were shit parents to do what they did and what's more they acknowledged it and will have to live with it for the rest of their days.

It will most likely never be known what really happened to Maddie despite the Germans rantings.

It doesn't bother me what you think if the McCanns... It doesn't bother me you break the rules of the forum... Both are of no importance. It's boring afaiac.

I'm sure you will find the Germans have definitive evidence about how Maddie died.. I think that's important

You are not thinking clearly.. If it was started deliberately by an arsonist it's their fault the fire started in the first place

Were you like that when your children were little more than toddlers ?

Hardly.  They weren't able to toddle down to the local River.  But they were pretty amazing at the local Tip and found all sorts of interesting rubbish, some of which I still own to this day.

None of them ever got bitten by a Rat.  But then we liked Rats.

Has it crossed the mind of anyone that she couldn't handle taking those four children shopping?  And why was no one helping her?

Jesus Christ, four children under the age of five and no one to help.  That is the real disgrace.  For how long had that been going on?

Why is assigning blame so apparently important to you?

It is an inherent nastiness that I will never understand and will never want to.  But there is nothing to be done.

Some people are nasty no matter what and will always see themselves as perfect.  God forbid that any child of theirs should fail.

We know virtually nothing about why this woman left her kids alone, or for how long, or if indeed she did leave them alone (she may have left them with a friend or babysitter who left them for example) but already the baying mob want her blood.  It may well turn out that she is (to use Angelo’s favourite expression) a “shit parent” or it may be that she was on the whole a good parent who made an error of judgement that she will regret for the rest of her life.  It’s funny how we haven’t heard a peep out of Angelo or G-Unit or any of the other sanctimonious, judgey types on here about the really, truly despicable and shit parents of Baby Star and little Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.  Could  it be that they don’t really give a shit about child neglect or cruelty generally and are only interested in this case because they see it as an opportunity to stick it to the McCanns once again?  Yes, I reckon that’s it.

Had she never heard of online shopping?

Most supermarkets deliver the next day or some even on the same day, that's how I get mine.

And if she decides to bear too much crotch fruit, that really is her own problem isn't it?

There are contraceptives these days & even abortions are available up to a horrendously late stage.

That case was horrific, he bit, kicked & punched his poor stepmother before committing suicide by repeatedly banging his head against the floor.  At least, that's what she told the police anyway.

And in the baby Star case, the poor mother with the low IQ simply wasn't educated enough to understand that when her psychotic girlfriend was beating the shit out of her baby that this wasn't just a normal path of any loving, lesbian family upbringing.

I'm thinking very clearly thank you. It was the mother's fault that the children faced danger alone.

So if it’s that clear cut then why has she not been charged?  I tske it you already know exactly what occurred and why so please explain it to those of us who don’t.

Sometimes neglect isn't prosecuted because the result is devastating. That doesn't mean it didn't happen.
