There is none, & this is why I maintain it is wrong to blame paedophiles for Madeleine's disappearance. It is discrimination, against paedophiles.
Really?  So we must have no more talk of Gaspars, of nipple twiddling and of dodgy Tapas paedo rings involving Clement Freud??   Are you really ready to relinquish that angle??  I’m v. surprised.  So, it was just a plain old murder for the sake of it then.  They just didn’t like her much and wanted rid?

I doubt it’s a dream of his and I very much doubt he acted alone without any consultation with colleagues and superiors.  Why does any case go to trial?  Obviously in the hope of securing a conviction and keeping bad people off the streets, sometimes trials end in a not guilty verdict, even when it seems mystifying that they have (I know you’re not mystified by it, but I am surprised at least one or two of those charges didn’t result in a conviction).
I don't think it was a case of throwing the baby out with the bath water, it looks to me to my totally untrained eye, although I have seen The Lincoln Lawyer, that lumping them all in together was a mistake.
It also looks to me, with my flimsy legal acumen, that HCW gambled with HB's chance of getting justice for a chance to bolster his very thin evidence file.
It's staggering that it went to trial, according to my relatively scant knowledge of the process, but that's what pressure does, makes people and organisations make irrational choices.

I wonder if Clement Freud was widely acknowledged as super creepy in 2007? Probably.
Talking of bathwater and babies (no, not Davie Payne), one of my favourite arists, Lucian.

Yeah well, probably best put your crowing on hold until after the appeal is heard, then you can give Cock-a-Doodle-Dandy a proper run for his money.

I am stunned. What on earth does The German Judiciary think they are up to?

Bruecker will commit these crimes again and with the blessing and encouragement of this Court.  And then Fulcher will defy them to find Brueckner guilty again.  No doubt with success.
The whole thing would be utterly laughable, if only it were funny.

Apparently Bruckner plans to go to Africa or Cambodia when he is released, which is quite a nauseating prospect for the countless children in these places who are sexually exloited by vile creeps like him.

And not one case remotely similar to Madeleine’s has he shown any evidence of. It appears he thinks giving a dog a bad name is enough.
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

I hate to break it to you but Christian Bruckner already had a bad name.  He was a convicted rapist and paedophile before HCW came onto thr scene.  Do you think it’s not possible to be a child abductor unless you’ve got a history of child abduction crimes under your belt?

Christian Brueckner did not have a bad name. Had you heard of him before Wolters called him a murderer?

It is possible to have a bad name or reputation without being infamous, or are you claiming he had a good name before it was revealed by the press?

Yes. His ex girlfriend testified during the trial & said some very positive things about him.
