I never said you did. I asked why you brought it HERE and now say IF NOT to slag off people on THIS forum who are also *skeptics*, unless YOU differentiate, which YOU DONT
 8((()*/

Ergo every reference you and  your ilk make about actions elsewhere onthe internet directly slag off/accuse skeptics here, you know it, iknow it, everyone else knows it, andwe ALL know you arent ar sed about making ANY differentiation, so again, do try at least to seem honest

I referred to ghouls and [ censored word ]s (on the internet.)      I refer to people on this forum as sceptics - which in my book is not the same as ghouls and [ censored word ]s - in fact a different league altogether.      If you are saying they are the same - then that's your opinion not mine.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

The fact is this is not always very clear, Benice. Some posters here accuse a sceptic of being [ censored word ]s as soon as he/she criticizes the McCann doxa. I wish pro would protest against this, it's very unfair.
I find also very tiresome insults concerning Mr Amaral and the PJ. I wish posters could be more euphemistic.

You have to laugh, they start the thread then complain, about anyone posting on it, cos they got it wrong! AGAIN.

It was a fantasic thread when they thought Kate and Gerry had split up. Just because Gerry wasn't wearing his wedding ring, on some show.  @)(++(* @)(++(* @)(++(*

Salut Anne.  What you perceive to be insults against Amaral are simply the truth being spoken.  As for being more euphemistic, would "mendacious mountebank" be more acceptable to you?

I have never insulted the PJ as a whole - I have every confidence that the rank and file PJ did their very best in this case.  It's just unfortunate that the head honchos were mendacious mountebanks.

But Anne, if it wasn't for Amaral - we probably wouldn't be here.  You really can't expect him never to get a mention -or to be universally admired for that matter.  People feel very strongly about his handling of this case - or 'mishandling' as many of us see it.

After reading his sneering remarks and nasty inuendo about the McCanns and others in his book - then as far as I am concerned he is fair game for similar treatment.

I'm sure there were and are many hardworking, honest, dedicated police officers in the PJ - but IMO Amaral was not one of them.

You will cite the names or  number of couples of who have stayed together after having their child kidnapped/murdered, you will be struggling

Floors yours though

Ps who gave you the idea they are still together because they are guilty? Both innocent and guilty parents of abducted and or murdered kids break up, doh
The point that has escaped you is MOST of them do

Lots of couples break up for all sorts of reasons.

What was the point of this thread?

- They've broken up: they must be cracking as theywhatdunnit.

- They're still together: only guilty parties can stay together.

Is there a third option?

Even if they had split up, it means nothing in terms of what happened to the child and is nobody's damned business anyway.

Yes.  I know the third option.  Gerry McCann was working at Pitie Salpetriere Hospital in Paris on 31-8-97.  He saw Prince Philip slip into Lady Di's room and unplug her ventilator.  Since then, Gerry McCann has been blackmailing Prince Philip, who ensured that they got away with doing away with Madeleine.  However, Prince Philip demanded that Kate and Gerry must stay together or he would have MI6 do away with them whilst they were out shopping in Leicester.  A white Fiat Punto would run them both over outside Aldi.

The thread was a drive-by from a septic who was positively orgasmic with schadenfreude as she flitted from forum to forum spreading the "news".

Ever thought of writing a book?

Fiction pays good money .

Hee hee!  Amaral certainly thought he had made plenty with his fiction in "The Truth: I'm a Liar" ....

I seem to remember the thread was started because of Katy Brand's article and nothing to do with Gerry's jewellery.

She must be so disappointed she got it so totally wrong. 8(8-))

You could almost hear her nasty glee at the thought that there may be more pain for Kate and Gerry McCann.  These people are like a pack of locusts salivating over a grain of rice.    8()(((@#
