I consider that post proves my point in the neglect thread that your posts are simply demonstrating pure vindictiveness and spite. There is no other reason I can think of that anyone would make such a snide remark about such an effort and result.

If there is any other reason please do enlighten us.

When people post that about someone who has had a child go missing then they really are showing that they have very hard hearts indeed. But I have to say having read your contribution here over the months the post does not come as a shock. It is standard fare really isn't it?

And your posts pursue an agenda you are barely attempting to disguise.

Let’s count the months, shall we?

But at least those that aren't can comfort themselves with the knowledge that their efforts in life, while not as athletically attuned as Gerry's, have at least helped them keep safe all their children.

You make these comments because you clearly adore the Mccanns and all they stand for.

There lies the ultimate irony.

He takes part in a charity run for missing people after he and his wife placed their social activities above the safety of their 3 young children, and nothing you cab say can get away from that simple truth.

So without Hugh Grant's £5000 donation Gerry wouldn't have reached his £4000 target. Says I all really.

So Rachel, how many UK residents didn't sponsor gm.

Remember he had that free publicity prior to the event in National Newspapers.

And without Gerry's effort Missing People would not have the funds that he raised.

I am sure they are glad of the £7,000 even if your sniping shows that you are not glad for them.

Exactly, they cannot bring themselves to congratulate a man who has raised over £7000 for a very worthwhile charity.

Pure spite and bitterness.

It is a perfect demonstration of the kind of attitude that anti McCann posters show. I hope that everyone looking in on this forum reads the thread from end to end and sees the nasty spiteful way in which the anti McCanns present have referred to this achievement today.

Have you ever raised nearly £8K for charity single-handed?

Comment upon negative comment. So that is why Gerry didn't meet his target, he simply isn't liked or trusted.

It does not matter how many people have been coordinated into posting negative comments. They still remain snide and nasty in the face of the fact that Gerry McCann has raised £7000 for a worthwhile charity.

If it had allowed at least one missing person to be found, it would be justified.
Would those who get salaries be otherwise on the unemployment list ?

Thats true

BUT a bad apple in the charity business affects the vision of others

Actually over the years I have raised considerable sums for charity through walks and runs, combined with other regular payments.

However, I didn't have the need to broadcast what I've done, I've just got on and done it.

How about you ?

Basically you cannot comprehend why many people dislike the Mccanns, can you ?
