People can take me whatever way they like sadie. I am simply stating facts.

TBH sadie I do worry about what kind of mother you must have been when you can see no danger in the situation Madeleine and her siblings were left in.

That was a post from faithfully to Sadie

That is a spiteful thing to say Faithfully,  especially after what Sadie posted on another thread about her son.

You like taking swipes at Sadie don't you.

Thanks Lace.  I am used to it ... and further know that the abuse flows when they have no sensible answer.  When they have lost the argument.

Well if I was a bad mother, then despite that my daughter has grown into a very fine woman.

All I tell you is my experiences of having a garden 50 metres long and being out there and hearing my children when they called.  back door unlocked and sometimes sidegate unlocked too.

Take it or leave it!  One does not expect someone to come in and steal ones children.  Face facts please.
Did their friends also leave a door unlocked, sadie?

That is irrelevant.  we care talking about Madeleine and the Mccanns, not other people

If the apartment is so close to the restaurant to be able to hear people calling, why didn't Kate shout to get help instead of leaving the other children alone in an open apartment again?

Kate's voice would be a lot louder than Madeleine's too, of course. Why didn't she simply shout for help?

Gerry is her strength in times of emergency; he is her support.   No doubt about that from videos.

Just 70 odd metres run, 15 seconds, maybe 20?   She needed Gerry

I honestly believe that if Madeleine had fallen and been badly injured, that they would have got an ambulance for her immediately.  Just my opinion, Faithlilly - I just can't fathom that they would cover up an accident.
I agree with that. Had they found her badly injured they would have called the emergency service, after screaming and alerting all the tapas staff, Mrs Fenn and the neighbouring.
But they didn't, because possibly it was to late for Madeleine.

Just be honest and say you don't know? There's no disgrace in it.

Why, yes, if she, as she repeated many times, knew Madeleine had been abducted (shutters/window) ? When she screamed from the balcony a bit later, the staff heard her !

So despite the photo showing how she could see the tapas restaurant you persist in the fall scenario?

If she had fallen , it would have been onto the steps, not onto the garden.

No odour there

There are no steps in front of the south bedroom.

So shout for him? If it's that close and that easy to attract attention?

The fact she didn't raises the possibility KM knew she wouldn't be heard over the noise of the restaurant, or she wasn't sure she would be heard. That possibility is a lot more likely for Madeleine, of course.

Another possibility is that when KM ran to the restaurant to raise the alarm she hadn't come directly from the apartment, and that's the reason why she didn't shout for help.

There are more possibilities than the one you're championing, sadie.

Are you in a muddle Anne?

Who said anything about the south bedroom?

The clear view that Madeleine had was as in the image.  THe building in the middle of the picture, immediately behind the pool is where Kate and Gerry sat.

Madeliene could have see them from there, which is immediately in front of the patio windows, which she would have come out thru.

Do you understand?

She didn't come out tho, cos NO 4 year old would close the patio door behind them
