Can Anyone See a Problem With These Statements ?

I dont trust anything to do with what happened at that Arguido meeting.  Not after Amaral / the PJ lied to gerry and told him that Madeleines DNA, or whatever was in that hire car.  A car that Madeleine hadn't even been near and hired weeks later.

What appalling behaviour for a Police Force ...  to blattently lie like that.

I dont trust anything to do with what happened at that Arguido meeting.  Not after Amaral / the PJ lied to gerry and told him that Madeleines DNA, or whatever was in that hire car.  A car that Madeleine hadn't even been near and hired weeks later.

Gerry signed it as a true representation of what had transpired and you certainly believe the part that details the PJ's 'lies' so why not this part ?

Once she was alone Madeleine would generally fall asleep after 10 minutes and during my stays in their house she would never get out of bed after having fallen asleep. She would always sleep in her room. I do not remember Madeleine having been difficult when we were there.

I would take that to mean that they have only gone out at night once and left Madeleine with relatives once since the twins were born.


The fact that other times the couple came to the house to baby sit.

Was it relevant ?  It doesn't change the anomaly within the two statements.

I would take that to mean that they have only gone out at night once and left Madeleine with relatives once since the twins were born.

Two reasons why this account doesn't hold water

1)  The above.  You cant trust anything that came from that lying Arguido meeting.  Especially the arguido statement

2)  Gerry Mccann signed a statement, was it written in Portuguese? ... he signed it when he was dazed by the appalling lies of the PJ.  His mind must have been reeling as he realised that they were prepared to stitch him and Kate up with lies. 

How long had he been there being interrogated ?

Madeleine by the look of it was usually baby sat in the house by the couple.
