"there won't be difficulties if Maddie is found."
And I laid many of those out very clearly and in some detail in my first post. Both Madeleine and her family will need a considerable amount of counselling / support, and the longer she is away, the more support they will need. As she is a Ward of Court, her future will be decided by the court, and a Court Welfare Officer, in the High Court a Guardian ad Litem, will be involved to look at all aspects of the situation and how to best cope with the problems that will inevitably arise. To dismiss the idea that there will not be a lot of problems is to be very naïve
I note no-one has responded to some of the specific questions I raised about on-going contact with her past life! Will the last 6 years be kept as part of her future life, or attemptedly wiped out? eg re friends, clothes, toys, the family themselves? How much will Madeleine's wishes influence what will happen? Dealing with these sorts of situations is NEVER simple
