Everyone's theories have some details drastically wrong.
I like the man. I like his straightforward behaviour in screen interviews. Would love to meet him have a few beers and discuss those details which I think he got wrong.

Back to the church, I thought Mr Amaral had previously said or written that he had ruled it out the church as a location?

IMO this church building and grounds are irrelevant, but I looked for past cases, found one featuring under floor, and one in the roof.

Yes but seems a bit unsecluded. Did it have a high fence around it? If not people might see - very risky.

IIRC that's a very low wall, doesn't offer safety from someone seeing.

If you knew there were trenches already dug you would take that risk. I don't think there would be people hanging round the church or that derelict house opposite. It could be easy to slip through the back of the church unnoticed in the dark.

So if true he was heading towards Kate's rocks.

During their visit, the McCanns stopped by Nossa Senhora da Luz, the church where Kate McCann had prayed each day after her 3-year-old daughter’s disappearance.
