Out of curiosity, why do people who believe the McCanns are still suspects think that the PJ invited them to Lisbon to update them on their progress and plans? Double bluff?

I heard a rumour via lurking on a fb page posted by a Portuguese member who'd seen it on the news last night. On CMTV I believe.

Considering how vague those sources are, I'm sure you'll understand why I didn't repeat them

Interesting to note that the CPS went to Portugal earlier this year, which can only mean they were reviewing evidence for a potential prosecution, of whom we know not.
