Well its that one girls hair colour ive never ever seen such a colour unless its been mixed out of a  box . Her dna lady (cant bring myself to call her mother ) is disgusting to the core .

I can't imagine the desperation that she must have felt to have given away or sold her child. I have two sons, I loved them before they were born. The first time I held them, the first time I put them to my breast and feed them, it's indescribable.

Thank goodness I live in a part of the world where I have access to contraception and medical care, thank goodness that if we ever lost our jobs we would have support.

I understand why you could feel disgust, but I feel immense sympathy and real gratitude that I won't ever face that most horrendous of all situations.

looks nothing like her mother imo ..
But she is, biologically only though, her family are those Roma people from whom she was horribly snatched. I agree this situation should be observed. But as long as she's loved she will be al-right.

i meant the family that brought her up not them who gave her away/sold her

a mother is who brings you up not just someone who gives birth to you

That is a bit of a general statement

A totally different scenario in some ways, but some children are "given away" eg given up for adoption because the birth mother loves them so much and they think the baby will be better off in different circumstances.  It does not happen so much now in this country, but certainly happened quite a lot in the past - and the birth mother frequently did not ever forget their child. Reunions of adopted children with the birth mother are frequently very touching.

Now, we have here sufficient backing for mothers and sufficient support of their needs so it rarely happens.  However, as Cariad has indicated, this situation is not the same throughout the world, and there are places where the poverty in which some people live lead to difficult decisions that we, fortunately, are sheltered from
