Well, let's see.

There's the "fridge" theory.  He was, apparently, on the brink of discovering which fridge just as he was pulled from the enquiry.

Cynics (like me!) may or may not be forgiven for pointing to a certain resonance with the Cipriano case on that one.

I think Amaral says in his book that Eddie had "no hesitation" in singling out the McCanns' car.  Those of us to watch the same video would beg to differ.

Odd that Amaral insists Mark Harrison said Madeleine's "concealed remains" were somewhere in close proximity to apartment 5a; while Harrison, actually, expressed a tentative opinion that (sic) if death has occurred, it is possible Madeleine's remains may have been jettisoned into the sea.

Amaral says half the dna from the boot of the car was Gerry's.  He presumably knows better than John Lowe, who didn't ...

Amaral says Kate sacked one of the liaison officers.  If she did, there is no record in the files ...

And so on ....

The Calpol was a good one! When my youngest was a baby there was a baby antihistamine doctors and other mothers raved about for making them sleep, This would be around 10 years ago, it's still around now, would have been perfect for the Mccanns, blowed if I can remember the name of it.

That's an interesting one.

I think Amaral fuzzily understood that calpol is not a sedative.  But he drew some non-existent "distinction" between "sedatives" and "sleeping solution" (which he took Calpol to be) ...

The Fridge one worked the first time, so that was almost a certainty.  Such a pity he never found it.  He should off hung on to the Cipriano fridge.  It even had blood in it.
