112 OC workers were questioned, amongst them some of English nationality and with the use of interpreters.

In addition, formal questioning was made of English employees most involved, from the MW company -?15 child care workers and two tennis instructors. Also eleven informal questionings with employees who carry out other types of activity. In total, 28 persons. Due to their absence, three individuals were not questioned, Euan Crosby, Steven Jackson and Emma Knights respectively.

Total of individuals questioned was 143, 15 of which were names corresponding to child care workers or 'nannies'.

It says 3 were not questioned, but the main point is that it does say how many, in total, workers there were.

As someone else pointed out - all names on the list were not interviewed fully.

there was one of the nannie's questioned who gave a statement to the pj ..she soon got packed off out of Portugal ...maybe she knew too much  >@@(*&)

It is not only her and not only nannies.. there is lots of people who came all over the world, cooks, sports personnel etc.. these were not Portuguese people at all.. With Portuguese it is easy to check them out.. they have the permanent address in PDL or near by but these seasonal workers are kind of travellers.. people with no fixed address.  I assume it is not easy to check their past... I am not accusing anyone but how easy is to check whether any of these people have some kind of a criminal record. Was this checked prior to employing them? 

Back in 2007 I researched this a lot and haven't found an answer to the question 'Did all MW employees who worked with children and near children had security clearance?'  Like the school and creche staff would have in the UK?

At about 23.30 a white fair haired man aged about 30, one of the friends of the McCann group was seen by Valerie Kerr and her family when he asked them if they had seen Madeleine. They were near to the chapel. Valerie and Laura returned to their apartment, changed clothes and went to help with the search.
No statement from the Kerr family in the files

------- As for the kitchen employee, MARIA MANUELA ANTONIO JOSE, given that she was not in service yesterday [neither] during the dinner [nor] when the disappearance of the child occurred, she was not interviewed. ---------

And what about the partners and friends of the employees? Were there people who did not work there and would for example visit often.. wait for them when they finish work and similar?

I thought these should be checked out too..

For example if there was a new employee with a bf or gf who did not have a job and was looking for a job or worked elsewhere.. but who would visit OC

The question that should be asked from all employees is 'Has any of your friends or relatives visited you at work? And how often'
