Very good they are combing the staff reports again!

But the staff are not only Portuguese, how they are going to find the others?

And even those foreign workers who worked there only shortly?

Yes, but,why didn't Amaral and his merry men look into this? Sacked employees should always be looked at.  And actually, I thought they had been.

But if this story is true then this man could have sold Madeleine, if he was hard up after losing his job.

I would also like to know what job he did at The Ocean Club.  Did he have access to keys for burglaries, and other stuff?

BONG.  As yet another clanger by Amaral is uncovered.

"Portuguese police are thought to have returned to the Praia da Luz area around a month ago to do mobile phone tracking work."

What I'm presently trying to do. Day 44 - June 16th has a discrepancy after dropping Jon Corner at Faro airport. Anyone here looked into mobile tracking?

The first ping of the day comes at 08:54 at Faro Airport. Nothing before at Luz or elsewhere, meaning that he either switched his phone off (anytime since 20:15 the previous evening) or there was no activity. Going by previous days analysis, this type of behaviour is extremely unusual.

Last ping at the airport comes at 09:03

Next ping in Almancil (6 miles to the West of Faro - on way back) at 10:10

Then a ping at 10:21 in North Boliqueime (5 miles North East of Albufeira)

{ Then a 2 hour 15 minute gap }

Next ping back in Luz at 12:36
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

If true ? that blows amaral's theory out the window along with the supposed fridge..

yes but if true it doesn't sound good for Madeleine.

The police wouldn't have needed big appeal if they thought it was an ex employee

yes but if true it doesn't sound good for Madeleine.

This man could still have sold Madeleine.

It doesn't sound as though he was actually a Farmer, living in a flat in Lagos, and working in The Ocean Club.  More likely an itinerate farm labourer and mixing with other such people.

The police wouldn't have needed big appeal if they thought it was an ex employee

but this is the PJ part of the review and it was stated to be different to SY investigation.

Sadly this doesn't appear to have occurred to Goncalo Amaral.

It wont because he will be kept in the dark ,he will no nothing of this new investigation
No one from the case before is working on this case .thensy and pn are working alongside each other .
If anything is leaked they will be in trouble and loose their jobs i expect .

the article I posted is a report on a man being killed in a tractor accident

Quote from: AnneGuedes on Today at 10:45:40 AM
It is the suspect number one, an ex-employee of the Ocean Club who was conflictingly dismissed (before the disappearance of Madeleine). Triangulation showed he was in PDL with no motive to be there, though he lived in Lagos. He died in 2009 in a tractor accident that hasn't been yet clarified. He was 40. His widow has been interviewed by the PJ in order to determine where he concealed the body.
This is what I heard on CdM TV.

Any unusual behaviour is of course first looked into.
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.
