Media monitoring and (claimed) PJ leaks.
« on: November 09, 2013, 01:49:37 PM »
Given the secondment of Clarence Mitchell from the Cabinet office to the Foreign & Commonwealth office as Media Liasion Officer for the McCanns and with full respect to his expertise and experience in media monitoring, how were Sky News and Martin Brunt in particular freely able to report on (claimed) PJ leaks ?

Have you ever seen a case in tv where the suspects, which they were, when Mitchell took over, were referred to by their first names only?

Part of the strategy to have them as your normal next door neighbour nice people....who we all know.....

At least Redwood hasnt made the same mistake......

We know its a no no in police investigations, tyen again he wasnt the police but a paid liar and exagerator

Sorry dont know the answer to your question....

I can only assume that this site is causing some discomfort to a McCann supporter, somewhere.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

Well it struck me as odd.....you normally have a lawyer speak for you when you are a suspect.not a professional liar though theres not much difference between defence lawyers and them sometimes

The thing that struck me as most bizarre about Clarence Mitchell's involvement was that he resigned his government job to work for the McCanns instead

He LEFT  a highly paid job,   that carried huge perks,  terrific expense allowances, great prospects for the future,  and an most enviable pension package

...  and he did that ...  he left all that  (  despite having a young family of his own to look out for  )  to work full time for the McCanns

As far as he knew,   Madeleine could have been found within days of him throwing away his career  ...  couldn't she  ?

It makes no sense for him to have done that
