Kate  says in her book they looked the next day for abour an hour...They jumped over bushes and stuff....that was it....I dont see them ever havng searched or willing to search because they know there was nothing to be found.....

On the other hand isn't that why Mr Amaral has been forced to defend himself in Lisbon against accusations that he damaged the search?  A search which they themselves have not once partaken in.

 You have posted this idea several times and I think it is totally ridiculous. What the McCanns have done is to force SY to investigate the case and this will have far more effect than them trudging through Portugal. I applaud them for their efforts

Investigating the case and searching for Madekeine are two separate issues.  What you are in truth saying is that the McCanns have persuaded SY to do their dirty work for them now that their efforts have been exposed on so many fronts as a costly sham.
