In Crimewatch they mentioned the fact that there had been a spate of burglaries.

But there was certainly no mention of the three burglars whom they want to investigate personally.

That's true, but it's not a big step from what was said in Crimewatch to what was said in the Mail really. Heriberto, for instance, goes from talking about one person in his blog to more than one when speaking to James Murray. It's easy.

My theory is simple: An Ocean Club employee may have opened the window to steal, and caught Madeleine for fear of being recognized. I reported this man to Scotland Yard Operation Grange and PJ Oporto team in June 2013. I also reported two more OC employees who may be closely related to the first one. Also reported a fourth OC employee who may know about the burglaries. I said those people must be investigated, if not yet. In Crimewatch of October 2013 was a direct reference to this first man.

It's easy, but when you throw Smithman into the situation it gets more complicated.

I'd still like to know why Smithman took centre stage in October when the burglars were being investigated - or at least preliminaries were taking place regarding their investigation - nearly eighteen months before hand.

Any why SY have been happy to talk publicly about Smithman and update us with regard to all the calls received about him, yet they will make 'no running commentary' with regard to anything else.

How would he do that? If he opened the window and didn't pass through it then how did he take Madeleine out of the apartment?
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Did you go to the British press with your theory Heriberto   ?

Opening the window and shutter from outside (as you correctly deduce IMO) surely indicates the person did NOT use a key.
This indicates IMO that the person did NOT have a key.

Once one recognises this person did NOT have a key, the only reason for presuming it was an employee is gone, and it is more likely to be a non-employee with no key IMO.

I think this OC employee may have not a 5A key ...
