the mcCanns were doing what countless british families have done and there has never been an incident like this or even a serious accident...never mind a fatal one.  Even after maddies abduction MW were still advertising baby listening services at other European resorts. They have now stopped.

I remember reading an article by the McCanns where they said that PDL felt like a british resort from the fifties...quiet and very safe...security should have been better and the McCanns all the holidaymakers should have been warned about the break ins.

How anyone can claim leaving 3 toddlers alone, night after night, out of both eyesight and (more importantly in my opinion) out of earshot, is responsible parenting is beyond me!

It isn't ok, it wasn't ok, it will NEVER BE OK!

Can one of the mods please do something about Sadie's repeated LIES that they could see their children! They were sitting with their backs to the apartment FFS!

Jesus Christ almighty! I don't get easily wound up, but when I read all these excuses for behaviour that was utterly abhorrent,  I have to reach for the caps lock!

What is also seemingly not realised is that the more excuses and justifications are attemptedly made, the more important it is to say again and again that such behaviour is NOT acceptable

And if they could see their children, by the way, it did not do them much good, did it?
