Their neighbour said they always kept the car boot open day and night so she reported it to the police!

I have never found this witness statement in the files. Have you?

4 minutes - "This neighbour has signed a document authorising the broadcast of her deposition that identifies her, but fearing threats and pressures, she doesn’t show her face."

Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Why did the tavares report say eddie alerted in the boot?
Inside, not outside. Could you distinguish the two dogs immediately ? I couldn't before observing Eddie characteristic face.

Decaying animal meat doesn't smell good and there are many porous materials in a boot for the VOCs.
If, imo totally implausible, a frozen body had been put in the boot to be driven to some burial place, it'd need many hours before unfreezing and starting to smell (what Keela found wasn't perceptible by a human nose).
Do realize that a small modification in the proportion of the VOCs of a deliciously smelling rose makes the scent disappear totally or even turn awful.

No I couldn't, apart from the different ways of alerting, other than that it took me a while to differentiate their body colouring, but his  report tell of both dogs reacting in the boot. He was there hmself at the time too.

Amaral had to follow the impossible to most lead and the only explanation for a body to be later moved In the car and buried was to freeze it. It's a long shot I admit. Also, it's very suspicious to be leaving that boot open day and night and for weeks according to that report. Also I would like to know what blanket fibres (missing pink one?) and hairs were found in the boot where the 15 allelles were found.

Amaral mentions her in his book, but have you found her "deposition" in the files?

I'm glad that at least you admit it, Pathfinder !
Why do a short shot if you can do a long one ?

I cant find any mention of blanket fibres in the boot. Hair and fibres from the car , interior seats and boot, were sent to the FSS with a request to a) determine if any of the hairs were post mortem and if any of the fibres matched the material from the identical pyjamas to those worn by Madeleine whch were supplied.

The only response I can find is one concerning if any of the hairs could have been Madeleines. Will add in the links in a minute.

(7BFibres and possible head hair from the back of the left seat in the vehicle luggage area.)

Two requests

Mr Amaral (you wouldn't call Mr McCann just "McCann", would you ?) doesn't say that this lady signed a statement, she just signed a document authorizing the broadcast of an oral statement in court.

So no statement exists then?  How strange.    But then Amaral has made other claims about what witnesses are supposed to have said  - for which there are also conveniently no witness statements.    So maybe not so strange after all.
The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

You insist, Benice, in being rude naming an ex-police officer... Is it because you suspect him of being the head of the conspiracy ?
BTW, there is an oral statement.

Like who?

And why would he? The PJ would know he is lying! for starters! As would the people he refers to (or that you refer to)

Interesting, when did she make an oral statement in court? Which court?

Why isn't this witness statement part of the official files? Was she able to provide a license plate number?

@)(++(*
she just signed a document authorizing the broadcast of an oral statement in court.
Was "eventual" in front of broadcast really necessary ?
