I see lots of people searching everywhere except in the residence.

Been a police SOCO team in the house apparently and have taken certain items for examination.

The father of Chloe Campbell says "we blame ourselves" after he awakes to find his daughter missing from the family home.

Chloe Campbell disappeared with her toy dog and sleeping bag.

A three-year-old girl has been snatched in an Australian town, prompting a major police hunt.

Chloe Campbell went missing at around 7am local time on Thursday morning from a home in Childers, Queensland.

She is described as white, with light brown shoulder-length hair and around 3ft 3in (1m) tall.

Police, who have issued a child abduction alert, say she was wearing orange shorts and a yellow shirt with butterflies and bees on the front.

Her father, Garth Campbell, told Australian Associated Press that Chloe, who normally sleeps in the living room, had vanished along with her sleeping bag and stuffed, blue toy dog.

He said a window was open and that there was an adult-sized footprint on the family's car outside.

"I don't think there's any possible way she's wandered off," he said.

"She wouldn't leave the yard by herself."

He added that they normally closed the windows at night, but that one of them must have failed to lock properly.

"Thatís why we are blaming ourselves," he said.

"I think it's got to be someone who knows me, in how they got in, where she sleeps. They knew she was sleeping in front of the TV."

Bundaberg Police Inspector Kev Guteridge said: "Shortly after 7am Bundaberg Police were contacted by a distraught mother of a three-year-old girl to advise that her daughter was missing.

"We do hold very serious concerns for the safety of the girl as we do with every missing person reported."

Seems a bit iffy IMO

"When he awoke on Thursday morning, Chloe, who usually sleeps in the lounge, was missing."

She confirmed that Chloe and her siblings had slept in the family's lounge room on Wednesday night because it was the school holidays.

An abductor, whom the family must have known, knew that Chloe would be sleeping in front of the T.V, he was lucky enough that they left the window unlocked, he climbs through that window via the car roof then takes her, her sleeping bag, soft toy & blanket, back out of the window without waking her.  All that without waking the other 2 girls who are sleeping in the same room also.

I just aint buying that story I'm afraid.

All sounds a bit iffy.  No kid could have been taken out of that window without alerting her siblings.

"We were letting them sleep out on the mattress in the lounge room because it's school holidays, so they were just all laying on the mattress together and one by one slowly dozed off while they were watching telly," she said.

She says she locked the house but did not check if the windows were latched like she usually would have.

One was found open after Chloe disappeared.

"I'm just thinking if I had have checked them, she'd still be with [us]," she said.

Ms O'Donnell is convinced that someone who knew her little girl must have taken her while she was sleeping because she did not yell or scream.

The missing girl is a half sister so quite possibly there are issues which we are not being told about.

"Late Friday afternoon, tensions flared over the girl's disappearance.

Her father was taken to hospital after he was punched in the main street of Childers.

He is in a stable condition.

Earlier on Friday, Chloe's mother, grandmother and half sister went to Childers police station for questioning.

About six family friends have also been interviewed by police."
