Stephen, SY are professional.  They would have examined Kate and Gerry first followed by the tapas group

So why has this ex-Met officer  said all theories ?

and do you seriously believe all police officers believe the mccanns story ?//

To be sure you would have to ask him what he meant...do you think SY have not looked at the parents...I have no idea what ALL police officers think...it isn't relevant...some are not that bright

Or of course some can see through the mccanns story for what it is. 8((()*/

meanwhile the current investigative team has found diddly squat, and that is being generous.

Precisely what evidence links the assaults to Madeliene's disappearance, other than hearsay ?

As to SY , well judge them by their results as you have the PJ. 8((()*/

None at all, but it looks good and reinforces the image of sexual predator as abductor.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

The case will be solved when one of three things happen...

i) Madeleine walks into a police station.

i) Madeline's remains are found by accident.

iii) Someone informs.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

iv) If they identify Smithman
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

There was a time when the McCann doubters couldn't wait for the PT authorities to re-open the case, so much so that they (the doubters) would delight in mocking the McCanns by suggesting that all that needed to happen was for them to invest in the price of a stamp to stick on a letter instructing the PJ to re-open the case (which was a ridiculous suggestion in every way).  Now it seems the doubters can't wait for the case to be shelved again, it's really most bizarre.

Perhaps you haven't got the message yet.

When the case was 're-opened' it was reasonable to assume that different scenarios would be investigated as regards to the fate of Madeleine.

Perhaps you too should read the article by the former met officer.

the opnly reason there is any criticism of the SY investigation is because they have declared the McCcanns not suspects and certain posters on here can't stand it.
More has been spent on the Assange case where he is accused of a sexual assault on two women who happily shared his bed and consented to sex. The alleged offences happened in another country and were not reported until months later. No one on this forum, apart from me has complained about the millions spent on this case yet we have lots of complaints about the maddie case. So let Asssange walk free to any country he choses and spend the money on Maddie.

The SY investigation will be seen through as it should be until its enquiries are complete.

An open investigation davel, means as the Ex-Met Officer said in the article yesterday, ALL SCENARIOS.

Do you comprehend that davel. ???

Thts not an open investigation...you have used the wrong word. Any competent police force will loo at all scenarios and the fact that SY have declared the McCanns not suspects shows that they have looked at them and ruled them out. The PJ ddi not look at all scenarios and wrongly concentrated on the parents
