I wonder what it actually means. No doubt the experts will be along shortly to pontificate.

It means that Kate and Gerry McCann will have 30 days to obtain permission from The British High Court to represent their daughter.  This 30 days will commence after the hearing in Portugal of closing arguments and a statement from Gerald McCann.

the second thing is that the mccanns doo not have the right to sue amaral in maddies name and seek damages for maddie. if you remember the mccans were seeking damages for all five of them. from that I don't think this affects the claim for defamation against amaral regarding the mccanns. My opinion is also...which I stated last week...amaral appears to be trying to limit the damages payable..ie he realises he has lost

Mind you, it won't achieve anything. What happens will happen irrespective of what people say & think.

Of course what will be will be...but looking at what is happening it does not look good for amaral

Reading the report this only concerns the part of the writ brought on behalf of maddie and does not affect the McCanns claim for defamation which was brought on their own behalf

......and I thought I was on your ignore list.

Well it seems the mccanns have to prove they had the authorization to bring the case.

Now let's see what happens next, eh ?
