Your attention to detail is extraordinary, pegasus.

I'll second that...good research pegasus.   8((()*/

As both Mark Warner and Ocean Club were equally responsible for the safety of guests at the resort I have amended the title accordingly.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

Photos can be deceptive when it comes to distance.   The easiest way to work out how far away the group were from 5A is by simply measuring out 50 metres.   It's not difficult.    I've  been on caravan sites in the past where the clubhouse is about the same distance away from some caravans/tents, -  maybe even more - and parents have left their children asleep in them to go there in the evenings.

Lethal.

When I was abroad I would never have dreamt of leaving a toddler alone in a bedroom day or night...the endless possibilities for danger just don't bear thinking about.

Maybe they also left the doors and tent flaps unsecured too, to enable toddlers who are known to wake distressed, to get out and find them.

I didn't say I agreed with it - just that it did happen.     And probably still does.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

If there was any evidence to support Madeleine actually opening the patio doors, fingerprints for example, I would think the discussion re. the visibility/audibility for a three year old highly relevant.

There is no support evidence.

More recent developments have looked toward the involvement of employees in burglaries, and there may be more information to come from that.  So what sort of vetting procedure was in force and used by the company to check out their employees?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Children should never be left alone in a caravan

Whatever happened to families taking holidays as families and doing things together, rather than just palming the children off wherever & whenever they can?

Maybe more associated with families with 2 working parents, used to having children in care all week struggle with them for longer periods.

Maybe, but in that case, why even take them with you?

From a large group of friends all with small children there might be support, shared combined activities and shared childcare.

I don't really know. I believe that the parent child relationship needs to be close with a lot of shared time.

I agree, you wouldn't even need separate babysitters.

Or be short of volunteers and extra pairs of hands to help carry the children back from the night crèche, should you have more than 2 children.
