It bothers me somewhat that the intelligent arguido has apparently been declared by certain press as being "no longer under suspicion".
It bothers me somewhat that a schizophrenic, a 16 year old & a man suffering with lung disease or brain tumour (take your pick) could possibly have carried out one of the crimes of the century.
It bothers me a lot that we are about to be sold a very dubious & unsatisfactory version of what happened that night with no chance whatsoever of discovering the whereabouts of Madeleine.
Cue the final curtain.
The perpetrator/s will not have been sitting still for the last seven years.
While the eyes of the world have been conveniently directed elsewhere; whoever is responsible will have had seven years without let or hinderance to have worked on their narrative of events; they will have swept all traces of their actions into oblivion; and only if the worst comes to the worst will a convenient 'fall guy' appear.
I think Euclides may have been the original choice.
As to the "no longer under suspicion" declaration; I seem to have missed the 'official' announcement about that.
