Yeah, the sort of parallels which struck me  --  holiday in ST Trop, expensive meals out, designer clothes shopping spree, calling in Sotheby's valuation team to price up the family silver
Now,I know we all react differently to bereavement but this strikes me as at the far end of the outlandish spectrum and showing a deep sense of self regard/narcissism

What he did just doesn't sit well at all does it.  In fact, it stinks of a desperation for funds for something.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

I think he stopped short of challenging Andre Agassi  ---  cos he couldn't actually play tennis LOL!

no,jeremy didn't hide what he was  --that's part of what I find so disturbing about him - no concept of appropriate behaviour in the circs, which is his perogative I know, but to me likely to be the sign of something not quite right mentally and emotionally

Considering he only broke into the caravan park to "make a point" he didn't need to keep the money. He did, though.

Very true - seems if he was making a point he wouldn't have kept the money afterwards.

I've always thought how cruel and shabby that was. He would have seen how distressed Ralph would have been. The "Dad" that he was supposed to love so much.

Yes,he had,to me a horrible sense of entitlement, then when the truth came out,he wriggled like maggot on a hook, not seeming to realise that his cock and bull story about 'testing the security'of Osea Park would have to be bull,if he didn't immediately pay back the money

I suppose he didn't need to take any money at all, he could have just rifled about a bit, to "make his point." It was a lot of money, too. I wonder what he spent it on?

Everyone knows that the caravan park robbery was about money and nothing else.  It perfectly illustrated not only his, but also Julie Mugfords desire for money.  I think Julie initially chose not to grass Jeremy up for the murders because she liked the idea of living the high life with him, funded by his considerable inheritance.  It was only as time passed that her conscience got the better of her, either that or she realised that the game would soon be up.

i read somewhere  --  sorry, can't think where, might have been Colin Caffell's book that it was £900 and he spent it on booze for the cottage at goldhanger and a meal out with Julie and some other friends
I sometimes think how creepy that  poor old Neville died, not even knowing that his own son robbed him in such a callous way

It's terrible to think that she might have prevented the murders if she'd only told someone what JB had been planning for months. But would anyone have believed her? Ralph, maybe, he was already suspicious. But he was expecting to be shot as some sort of accident. Not at night when everyone was in bed.

Who did Neville share these thoughts with?

It was £900. That's a lot of booze and dinners! It was very callous, I agree. He was obviously a very discontented young man.

Yes I agree,I think there's more to Julies story than we know  --  not  that I think that she had anything at all to do with the murders,I hasten to add, but  but...something doesn't feel quite right, maybe she was in his thrall
I had a boy-friend at uni like that,NOT a killer,of course, but he did some horrible a-moral things including stealing from his parents. To my shame,it took me quite a while to break away from him.Good job he stopped short of murdering his parents,or I would have had to do a deal with The News Of The World!!LOL
