You are right, She did not mention pulling the covers back to check, but its something that most mums would do!
   Did she get everything perfect and remember everything in the programme?
 Was the crime scene not a mess, where a lot of people had been searching ?

Several people mentioned having looked in various places, including Fiona. Whether they remember where they actually looked, or just gave examples, may be a different matter. What was important at the time is that they'd looked and she wasn't anywhere.

There was no reason for the PJ officer to note with precision every place that they had checked - he just needed to be satisfied that people had checked in plausible places and that the child was indeed missing in order to file his report.

Have you ever been in a similar situation? I really have no problem with the concept of sensing something instinctively and checking remote possibiities, just in case.

She hasn't once mentioned (in her book, 2 reconstructions, numerous interviews) checking either under the bed or moving the bed clothes, as far as I know.

Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Her bed was found neat, as it was in CSI photos and there Is no way of knowing whether or not, they had been disturbed and reset, so just a possibility .
 Kate searched the whole apartment......Covers everything, so no need for her to itemise. just for our benefit surely!
