Cleared of suspicion?

Cleared of suspicion?

This case hasn't been solved in 7 years so you can betcha everyone is under suspicion.
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

The two alerts by the german shepherd dog in New Addington had no evidential reliabilty.
They were nothing more than "intelligence"
(which BTW solved the case).

The original case was shelved pending further evidence.

The nature of the crime has yet to be ascertained.

We know the original botched case was shelved.  Surprised you haven't noticed the new ones being worked by the PJ and the Met ... both forces having exonorated Madeleine McCann's parents and their friends after examining the evidence which allowed them to reopen Madeleine's case.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....
