We'll see WS
I don't think they will arrest you or lock you up.

Have they arrested anyone yet?

They've had the dossier nearly a month.

There are serious threats to kill & abduct in there, aren't there?

Don't seem to be in much of a hurry really do they.

The b*stards.

you are much too inoffensive to be arrested...your accusations are generally quite mild

I think people stalking McCanns in gyms and shops and those who tweet about them twenty four hours a day should be put in a mental hospital, not in a jal  @)(++(*

Was she stalked at the gym?

Or was it that she uses the same gym as someone who chose to tweet about it.

Why would anyone care what Kate McCann does? Why would anyone be interested to tweet about it?

It seems these people have no lives of their own, being obsessed with the McCanns for 24 hours.

..and here is a reminder of how the mccanns have manipulated the media to get 'sympathy'.

It is GROSS.

Let me be clear about this. Threats of physical violence against anyone are to be abhorred and especially so if the individuals targeted are children. That anyone guilty of such an offence should be punished within the law is self-evident. What shouldn't happen however is for the information given to the police then to be given to the media  tainting the whole process of justice and frightening the young victims, who were in all probability oblivious to the threats up until that point. That the McCann's supporters feel that this kind of behaviour somehow protects the twins beggars belief and I can only thank my lucky stars that they don't feel the 'need' to protect anyone close to me.

Further while abusive comments should be dealt with in an appropriate manner the public's right to ask questions in a civil manner about the events of the night of 3rd of May 2007 should not be made a shameful act. The actions of the few should not be allowed to erode the freedoms of the many.

Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

Brilliant idea that one, wasn't it.

Like Angelo said, pouring petrol on the flames.

Someone thought they could shame people into believing & that would help.

Things are that desperate.

Then certain posters should now be very careful  what they type now.

The abuse and threats have gone both ways.

Things have a way of coming back to bite at the biter.

Good advice for all, Stephen.

I do not concern myself with how the Mccann's live their lives, but obviously they have perceived threats made towards themselves and their children from a handful of nasty cowards to be very real. Can anyone say then, what preventative measures have the Mccann's put in place to safeguard the security of their family?

Jolly good. In light of recent developments, it's probably best if you and everyone else keeps it that way, wouldn't you say?  8)--))

Much whining about "[ censored word]" being abused too, and "Dr" Amaral apparently receiving threats from evil pros.  And a poster on here apparently compiling a "dossier" of abused [ censored word]?  Good grief.

But there is one thing which separates the two.  The McCann family were true victims in this, and cannot simply walk away.  Madeleine is still missing.  And they are easy targets for anyone who sees it as their right to heap abuse.

ALL of the rest are involved in this case voluntarily - and if they dont like it, can simply walk away.  Stephen can complie as many dossiers of poor victims of abuse as he likes - the answer will be the same - you dont like it? - step away from the computer.

And bleating about "wot about my rights to free speech" won't wash I'm afraid - you want to have the right to dish it out?  Then expect to have to take it too.

Zero tolerance should be applied to all forms of abuse and I for one have no problem about reporting serious instances to the appropriate authorities but I must question why this dossier was also sent to all the media outlets.  In my opinion this cheapened the entire exercise in that it was obvious that the need to get one over on the 'opposition' was deemed more important than justice.

Had this abuser identified by Martin Brunt in his special report been given an official warning, charged or prosecuted then that was the time to release information to the press.  As an aside, I find Martin Brunt to be a bit of a hypocrite since it was not so many years ago that he too pointed an accusing finger at the McCanns. Oh the shame of it all!!!!
