Thank goodness my granddaughter, gave me the reason for Santa being able to do all the Christmas things, that only he can do.... "Magic!" she said "He can freeze time for years at a time and get it all done without aging" 
Pity he cant share that magic with us oldies.

I have just eaten "Paupettes" of something or another.  Undoubtedly, unspeakably French.  But they were half price at the time as they had hit their sell by date.

I have no idea what they tasted like as my taste buds had been totally destroyed by too much cheap wine.

Cotes do Rhone and chateneauf du pape were my favourites, both French of course.

Good luck to anyone brave enough to face the Boxing day sales.  I was always there early and made some terrible mistakes in my eagerness to grab a bargain.  Still the chairty shops did well as I got rid of them.

Hope you do better.

Not me, I've been out most of Christmas so staying in on Boxing Day.   I might do a bit of bargain hunting from my four poster
