I find it to be a complex issue. My thoughts go out to her family at this difficult time.

If she had indeed taken her own life (which hasn't been confirmed) over being confronted about the contents of her online persona, then it also stands to reason, IMO, that others could also overstep the boundary and cause physical harm to the McCann family or anyone even vaguely associated with them. Some, IMO, individually or collectively, have been overstepping the boundary in terms of psychological harm for years.

Her online "friends" could have encouraged her to take a step back. I have no idea whether any one of them tried.

Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Well,well,well.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-29541009

Cause of death unknown at this stage.

and there's this.......................

Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe, Tuesday, 7 October, BBC London:

"The family handed (the file) to our team who are investigating, reviewing the murder, sorry, reviewing the missing girl ......"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/p02789bx - at 26 minutes onwards.

So Hogan-Howe mentions again that Operation Grange is a 'murder' investigation/review and admits for the first time that the so-called "dossier" was handed to the MPS by "THE FAMILY" - no mention of any anonymous group!

' But Gerry "Furious" McCann had already previously stated that he hadn't seen any of sweepyface's tweets!!!! '

So benice, any slip ups there were there ???

So not necessarily Kate or Gerry but one of the family...and so they should report harassment to the police

The immediate 'slip up' I can see ... is your mask.

The other one is the adulterated "snitch" you tube video ... that is not how the BBC have billed the programme.

Both in true form in the insidious ... and intrinsically evil ... campaign bring run against the McCanns.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I followed the link earlier and I saw it before it had been 'got at'.

... and isn't what is on the internet exactly the problem under discussion ... you appear to have a predilection for pejorative statements such as the one I highlighted in your post.

They are both from the B.B.C.

Now explain how they have been 'got at'.

if I said the pope was a catholic I would expect you to disagree

I was asking why it was significant that she was divorced and estranged from one of her children? According the Office of Statistics 42% of marriages in England and Wales end in divorce so it would not be particularly remarkable. Mussen Sie nicht einverstanden ?

Now explain how they have been 'got at'.

I have already told you ... I had sight of the official BBC site ... prior to the addition of the text by person or perons unknown.
Your turn now ... where exactly is your cite for the allegation you have made about death threats to Dr Amaral?  You appear to be anxious to ensure mention of things you consider damaging to the Drs McCann ... so where is it?
