I want someone to get that Journalist and the Family Liaison Officer.  I don't like those two at all.  But no real comparison in The McCann Case.

The boy in the missing was abducted, so, I agree, there is no real comparison with the McCann case.

I've not watched all of it, but he is certainly seems fishy, & the boys mum is a bit of a slut, leaving her husband & jumping in the sack with that copper.

Shameless whore.

I think she's scared of him.  There's a big, big Conspiracy in there somewhere, which the father doesn't know about.  He's going to get himself bumped off if he doesn't shut up.

Even Wonderful Spam comes up with the very occasional talking point.  But then I probably have to pay more attention.

It's a BBC TV drama in several episodes, Sadie.

It's on iPlayer, if you have access to that. It's "The Missing".

Thanks Carana and Vixte.

Am on catch up having seen four episodes in the past few days.

Have no idea who "dunit" yet, but then I dont hear everything

Love the atmospheric photography and the characterful and picturesque Fronch towns, everything French.   I want to go again.  I left my heart in France.

It was filmed in Belgium actually, though set in France.

Flanders area?

I wonder why the English flag was draped from a house window in one episode?  Do you think an English guy will be involved?   I have travelled fairly extensively in France and I have never seen an English flag draped like that.

Maybe the filming took place during the World Cup earlier this year. Bit like the plastic water bottle in Downton, I expect.

The house with the St George flag draped across it near to the paedophile Vincent's house? Think in the "present" he now lives in England.

For someone who has only ever expressed contempt for this programme I'm surprised you're sticking with it.  Forcing yourself to endure this not-remotely-critically-acclaimed-by-anyone-who-matters-to-a-dyed-in-the-wool-sceptic-McMissing series for the good of the cause are you? @)(++(*
