It seems to have been the modus operandi used to set up Joseph Cardinal which no doubt the present criminal prosecution will address.
I think there are indeed serious questions to be asked about the mystery money deposited in the bank account of one of the first officers who attended the scene of Madeleine's disappearance on the 3rd May.
The people who question everything seem to miss this one for some reason.

Paulo Pereira Cristovao was meticulous in trying to blame the assistant referee Jose Cardinal false practices of corruption.
