"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

How do you do those thingies over letters?

Has he spent all of the money he got for his work of fiction, "The Star of Madeleine".  You know, the one still being quoted as "Troo".

No one of any importance Alice.

Apart from the damage he did with his made up story about, "Six Dead Bodies."

Just for a moment imagine were he not a former PJ operative but one of a group of friends who happened to be on holiday in the Algarve in 2007.
I rather imagine his exploits would achieve monumental levels of importance and he himself and his friends would be the subject of more than a little internet chatter.

You'll have to refresh my memory Eleanor.

By all means discuss the individual but don't pretend he has anything at all to do with this case.

You'll have to refresh my memory Eleanor.

In his book of fiction, which he stated was, he said that Kate McCann had confessed to attending Six Dead Bodies prior to her holiday in Luz.
Kate has never said this.

Of course he does.  He was responsible for releasing countless Myths into the public domain.

If you don't know Kate I can't see how you are in a position to be so positive.

If this is Amaral, then yes.

Stuart Prior said people  in England have been arrested on more than the PJ had against Kate and Gerry.

Stuart Prior rang the FSS to berate them about the PJ's powers of arrest.

Mark Harrison changed the investigation into one for a little girl assumed dead.

No one talked about murder.

Amaral contradicted Prior on interpretation of the forensic results.

English police officers wore findMadeeline ribbons (or somesuch)

Eddie had no hesitation in alerting to the Renault Scenic.

Madeleine was driven dead in the Renault Scenic to Huelva, Spain.

Gerry hid Madeleine on the beach.

The catalogue goes on and on ....

Then it's a shame it's not Amaral Eleanor was talking about.

His book on Madeleine's case was so convincing a Spanish newspaper printed quite a bit of it as 'fact' ... some of which I believe are still being quoted on internet sites to the present day.

He had quite a bit to do with Madeleine's case.

**Snip
Between 1990 and 2007 Paulo Pereira Cristovao was in the Policia Judiciaria as an inspector. He worked in the departments of Combate y Bandidismo, human trafficking, terrorism, and eastern Mafias.

In his publishing success “A Estrela de Madeleine” – recently pubhished in Portugal by the publisher Presença – he confirms with names and surnames all Amaral’s theories:

their little girl died; they concealed it to avoid a Portuguese prison, which they consider Third World;

they involved their friends and high British officials (the presence of MI6 in the area is common knowledge with police and journalists living in the Algarve since then;

they made the body disappear;

turned the case of the disappearance into the biggest media event in all history;

they put forward a false trail in press conference.

No one has sued Pereira Cristavao. His work is not on the shelves of bookstores: it is sold piled on top of the counters.
