And he was dead and gone by end of October the following year.


I must admit I did take notice yesterday when the Italians, who by the way have failed miserably to stop this migration, dared to suggest that the UK might want to take some 100,000 of them. WTF !!   There is already 5 million illegals in the UK, most of them squirreled away by networks in London I might add, time our useless Government did something about them never mind the next lot!

Things are only going to get worse.

Should have left Gaddafi alone, clearly they (the powers that be) learned nothing from the ousting of Sadam.

The Muslim Brotherhood now rule Libya, & Isis have a free run.

Christians & non Muslims are being lynched/ beheaded in North Africa for the crime of not being a Muslim.

They'll keep coming by the boat load, we have Bush, Blair, Cameron, Sarkozy & the rest of the ruling tw..s to thank for this, they'll never admit they were wrong though.

IS releases new 'killing' video of Ethiopian Christians

Islamic State (IS) militants have released a video purportedly showing the killing of up to 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya.

Footage shows one group of men being beheaded on a beach and another group being shot in the head in a desert.

The victims are believed to be members of the Ethiopian Church seized in Libya by IS-linked militants.
The video is similar to previous ones posted by IS, including the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians in February.


Ethiopian condemnation

The latest tape is 29 minutes long and bears the official logo of the media arm of IS. Its authenticity has not been independently verified.

Ethiopian Information Minister Redwan Hussein said the government was trying to verify the nationalities of those shown in the video.

He condemned the killings, calling them a crime against humanity.

The US also voiced its outrage at the "brutal mass murder".

"This atrocity once again underscores the urgent need for a political resolution to the conflict in Libya," said National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan.

In the video, a masked militant with a gun is seen making a statement threatening Christians if they do not convert to Islam or pay a special tax.

The latest killings appear to have taken place in two regions of Libya - in the south and the east, the BBC's North African correspondent Rana Jawad reports.

Libya has been torn by a civil conflict and growing violence since last summer, our correspondent says.
She adds that some local extremist groups have pledged allegiance to IS.

IS - which controls large swathes of Iraq and Syria - has in recent months published a number of videos apparently showing the killing of its hostages, drawing condemnation around the world.

I've read that Libya had 0 national debt, it's citizens benefited from free electricity, newly married couples were given cash towards housing, loans were given at a 0% interest rate & if you wanted to be a farmer you were given free land, cattle & seeds to help feed the countries people.

He turned Libya from one of the poorest to the richest African nation.

What an absolute tyrant that Gaddafi was.

And now the Middle East is paying the price for all these futile crusades which have allowed an even more powerful and vicious entity in the form of ISIS to take hold.   

One has to wonder if replacing a dictator or two with an all-out fanatical terrorist regime is helpful to anyone?

I was amused when Cameron said we would rescue them and drop them off 'in the nearest country'. He refused to take any and i wonder how much UKIP had to do with that? without UKIP would he have taken them?

It would be interesting to know how many illegals who manage to get into the UK in and under lorries and in shipping containers are actually repatriated or is it a case of reach England ...receive sanctuary?

I'm very sympathetic to individuals who wish to come to a better place and in their situation I might try to do the same. What the solution to it all is I don't know. I live in a part of England where the ethnic mix is varied and we all get on really well, but there are strains on services even here in the relatively affluent 'shires'.
