Should the new Royal Princess be named DIANA after her paternal grandmother, the former Princess of Wales?



Diana, the people's princess, with her first born and third in line to the throne, Prince William.

What a lovely photograph, John.
        If we went by the old traditional naming sequence, she would be named after her other grandma, but the royals do their own thing with Baby naming.
One of the daughters by rights should be Diana, I think.
I think Elizabeth, victoria or Mary would be nice, though.

This subject will have no doubt been debated at length in the Royal household.  Notice how the subject of the baby's name is taboo today in all msm reports and especially Sky and the BBC.

Why not Carole after her maternal grandmother?  Then other members of the family could say we're having the two Carol(e)s for Christmas leaving everyone wondering...two Christmas Carols or Princess Carole and Carole Middleton  8)-)))

Think it should be Carole to show Little Britain is a true meritocracy: 2 generations from air flight attendant to princess.

I think it was a few days until Prince George's name was announced.

Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

I think they probably will use Diana's name - I suppose it can't be a worse omen than using her engagement ring. I hope they call the royal sprog Victoria.

My grandson was born today, and the local news interviewed my daughter and told her to say that she hoped he'd marry the princess when he grows up, which she wasn't too cheery about! And he gets a silver penny, apparently. (Cool!!    8((()*/  )   He looks like Jackie Wright, and I'm totally in love!

All I can say is, watching your baby having a baby is so weird, a bit like russian dolls. I love my youngest so much, and now I love her baldy little sprog more than life itself. Even though he looks like a 75 year old man.

I do struggle with his unfeasibly large plum bag, though. That can't be right.

I did have once... but it shrunk to minute proportions through underuse.   Any chance of a transplant?

The Royal baby is a girl, they are going to name her Diana, as she will come in to the world just like her grandmother went out.

Speeding through a tunnel, covered in blood with the paparazzi outside the windows.
