I must say, I've got to laugh at how twitter gets blamed for all the McCanns woes while they block critics on Facebook.  The difficulty for them is that they cannot manipulate either giant and people will have their say.  Twitter has more than sufficient safeguards in place to protect any user from abuse.  Our sister site was blocked by @findmadeleine ages ago which says it all really.

I'm at a disadvantage here, Lace, I would rather would rather sit and watch a newly painted wall dry out.

I despair at people who directly attack a missing little girl using the medium set up to publicise her and other missing people. 

Make no mistake about it there is nothing which can excuse attacking something set up for those intentions. 

Yes, distress may well have been caused to the Drs McCann who have done everything humanly possible to keep their daughter's persona in the public conciousness and no doubt their are those who take great delight in that victory.

Perhaps they should stop to think about the main casualty of their malice ... Madeleine McCann ... and the publicity given to other missing people as a result of reading Madeleine's #.

I have nothing to forget, Stephen.

I was able to enjoy with my eldest daughter her first day at school and the highs and the lows of her life since then and I am eternally grateful for that because my life has certainly been enhanced by her presence.

Why there are people who use Madeleine McCann as a conduit for censuring her parents, the latest petty, contrived assault on the Find Madeleine social media vehicles being a prime example, is way beyond my understanding.
