How disturbing to know there are people around who actually want Madeleine to be forgotten about and never found - for no other reason than to spite her parents.   Very sad.

I think it goes further than that Benice.  These people cannot be ignorant of the potential effect of their actions on Madeleine and attacking the public media campaign set up for her is just one of the spiteful attempts on her reopened case.

Don't suppose the countless millions who go nowhere near the likes of Twitter will pay it much heed.

From what I could see of the OFM twitter account many of the tweets were appeals to find missing children other than Madeleine - so yes, I expect you're right, these trolls are probably thrilled that there's one fewer account doing all it can to help find missing people.
